What is AVAT.app?

AVAT.app is a free tool for verifying tax identifiers and bank accounts in the European Union.

VAT Number Verification

We verify VAT numbers via VIES (EU), the ARES register (Czech Republic) and the Czech Ministry of Finance database. Results include the company name, address and VAT registration status.

Bank Account Verification

For Czech companies, we verify whether a bank account is listed in the GFŘ (General Financial Directorate) registry. Both standard account number format and IBAN are supported.

VAT Rates

Overview of current VAT rates across all EU countries, regularly verified and updated.

Privacy

We do not store any data about WHO submitted a query. We only record aggregated statistics (query counts, average response times) with no requestor identifier whatsoever.
